We ate at Cantina Laredo on 5-25-11 the salsa was the worst. The food was also nothing special it was definitley was not gourmet. the local mexican restaurant where we are from is 1/3 the price and 100% better.

Great food and good atmosphere...the only negative is on the weekends or during busy times the wait can be very very long 1.5 hours and more. We found all the businesses at Branson Landing get like that during the busy times so go early and be prepared to wait. Other than that the food is excellent and the service is good. Have been a couple of times and will go back. Would recommend if you are in the area of Branson Landing. My wife loves this place...Jim from GA

Every time we go on vacation we would dine at Cantina Laredo. The food is delicious. March 10th.., 2010 was the last time for us. We were in there at 2:30pm last Wednesday. It was my husband and myself, also one other customer. That gentleman was in a booth as we were but he was located where he couldn't see the seats of our booth. My husband left his wallet on the seat of the booth and we walked out but within 2-3 minutes he realized and of course ran back in. Our table had already been bussed and no one was around. we asked for the manager. Our first thought was that the person that cleaned the table or our waitress had picked it up and was holding it for us. Well, to our surprised they said they hadn't seen it. We explained to the manager that we just walked out and one of the staff must be holding it for us. He went to the back and of course came out and said no one had seen it. The waitress came also and verified that she didn't see it either. We even spoke to the only customer in there that couldn't see the booth. The wallet was left on the seat. No one else had entered the restaurant within 2-3 minutes. The worst part was that no one seemed concerned. We were from 550 miles away. My husband had of course driver's license, military ID, vehicle and health insurance cards, a few credit cards plus a few hundred dollars cash. We went from there to the police station to file a report.(left on seat & stolen) called all credit card companies, also credit bureau and fraud alert. My husband has never in his 64yrs. of life left his wallet anywhere. My husband is so honest that he has a tendency to think everyone else in places like that is also. He always tips 20% plus! Well, someone that works there got a "HUGE" plus. So please beware, Cantina Laredo must evidently not screen their employees very well. So please beware, the food is delicious but watch your purses, wallets & money. We prefer not to eat at restaurants where we know that employees are thieves and steal. The District Manager called us once after we sent comments to the company. We couldn't believe that he said in 40 years that he has not know anyone in his restaurants to steal. I guess he doesn't watch the news. Of course he would uphold their reputation, no matter what. It wasn't his money or wallet! So once again, just beware.

I live in Texas and eat at many mexican restaurants...and love to go to Branson, Mo every year for the shows, excitement, and food. The Cantina Laredo is the best mexican food I have eaten anywhere. The pinto beans and salsa/chips are absolutely awesome as well as the enchillada's and Marqarito's, all of it!!! Fantastic food and service and atmosphere!!! Johnnie from Texas

We enjoyed this food so much that we ate there twice in 3 days. If your a Guacamole fan, you must try their freshly made at the table Guacamole dip....yum yum ! In regards to FAJITAs.....try the CANTINA Fiesta....chicken, beef, pork ribs, quail, and pork shank that falls off the bone with skillet of onions, and lots of red and green bell peppers seasoned to perfection....around $25 bucks and enough food for 2.....trust me....you might order another side of beans and rice. Excellent choices of different flavors that will warm up the taste buds with 2 different salsa's, MEDIUM and HOTTTTTT. If you like Margaritas....this is the place to be, just be prepared for higher prices than most, but hey, your on vacation, live a little ! Regards to DESSERT....we were to full on chips and dip and our main meal to have one....but we did see 2 delightful treats come out with sizzlin skillet of chocolate fudge brownie covered with cream and Ice cream at the table....the aroma was very soothing but, I had already loosened my belt to the last notch. This is a MUST stop while in Branson.....ENJOY Branson travelers !

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The food is good, but a bit over priced at dinner. We went during the floods in April. The landing was flooded, so I called to see if they were open before we made the trek down, park etc...We get in there only to be told they can only offer cold items because they had no propane. I told her I had called but was not told that. She didn't apologize, and seemed impatient when we showed apprehension on whether or not to have guacamole and chips as our main course. We went to the bar to think about our next plan of action but realized we had missed happy hour by 1 minute. We told the bartender our story, but she pretty much walked away to help other patrons. So we left and haven't been back. I felt like they could have run some drink specials for the night since that's pretty much all they could offer. We got a lot of big city attitude in little Branson, MO.

My favorite restaurant while visiting Branson. Loved the atmosphere and food. It was a little expensive but unlike most Mexican restaurants, the beef/steak in the dishes was not rubbery or tough. It actually tasted like real steak. My beef item was my favorite part of my lunch and I usually prefer chicken.
