What a delightful experience. It was like stepping back into time. Fantastic made to order food, huge burgers, thick shakes, fresh cut fries, and carnival rides after we ate. A great car and celebrity museum and all with a beautiful setting. Clean well kept grounds. Everything was from the fifties era.. a must see. We noticed that it can be very busy. Thanks to the owners for sharing the memories.
This place should be avoided at all costs. The food was mediocre at best, and the service was abysmal. It took us a half hour to get coffee, and we were the only party there! It was a quiet Sunday afternoon, and there were at least four servers/cooks on duty for this tiny place. Good lord, what happens when they're busy? Clearly none of the staff (the oldest being MAYBE 17) wanted to be there, and it completely ruined the experience. We almost walked out but, an instant after we decided to do so, magically, 35 min after we ordered it, our coffee arrived, then right after that our food came, so we felt obligated to stay. What a mistake. It's really too bad because this place could be a great tourist attraction, if the owner decided to hire competent staff. We deeply regret eating here.
We stopped with our 4 children and we ate outside on a late August evening.. The setting was amazing and the food was delicious. Almost the biggest Cheeseburgers we have ever gotten and the homemade fries were also very good.
