We discovered Banana Leaf when we moved here from Las Vegas in 2007. The service was good and the food was really tasty. We have enjoyed every meal since going except for the drunken chicken which was not bad but was prepared different than expected. We compare supposed asian food around the valley and Banana Leaf has continued to move us to return again and again.
The food was of mediocre quality.
When we asked if they had Vietnamese pho (noodles), the waitress told us they did but she would not recommend it.
So to us, that was an indication that they were not too confident about their quality.
The BEST sweet and sour chicken I've had anywhere. The fired won tons they bring out before the meal are awsome! The atmosphere is not what you'd expect, but it's very cozy. If you love chinesse & tai, you'll love this place! A little out of the way for Albuquerque but well worth the drive.
