Church of the Conception
Description
The Church of the Conception (Iglesia La Concepcion) formed part of the first convent for religious women in Bogotá and dates from 1583. Several reconstructions later, the church edifices are made of carved stone blocks, with geometrical figures, flowers and fruit motifs. Noted for an extraordinary vault by Mudejar and relocated from Seville.
