Description
The Bolívar Square (Plaza de Bolívar) is located in the heart of the historical area of Bogotá. It was originally created in the 15th century. Bordered on all sides by 16, 17th and 18th century buildings, the square also hosts a statue of Simón Bolívar sculpted in 1846. This is a great launching place to begin exploring the city.
