La Chorrera Waterfall, CHOACHí

45 minutes from Bogota, La Chorrera is the tallest waterfall in Colombia. Access by taking a bus, guided trip or car along the Bogota-choachi road, enjoying successively stunning views as the road climbs into the mountains, then stop at Parque Aventura La Chorrera. At the park, pay for entrance and guide to the waterfall, or enjoy horseback riding, camping, and an expansive lunch. From the park, a 30/45 minute walk leads to El Chiflon and the Monkey Caves. An hour and fifteen minute walk will reach the base of La Chorrera. Expect to spend the better part of the day on this hidden gem of an adventure.
