Have been to Mill multiple times and have had nothing but great quality food and service. Taco Tuesday, bluegill on Wed, wing thursday, fish fry friday, and a great prime rib on Sat that they create into a great Munich sandwich after Sat. And as far as Unhaps comment, i find the comment to be completely false and unfounded. The restaurant is small and can serve limited clientelle. So being asked to make space after the meal is done and paid for does not immediately mean segregation. Get over yourself and LIVE in the the now and quit assuming everyone is out to interrupt your reparations.
Been here a few times and I have always had a good experience. Had wings on a Thursday for 30 cents a piece! The buffalo sauce is outstanding. The seating is limited, but I heard the bartender taking reservations, which might be worth checking into to avoid a wait (it was pretty full at 7 on Thursday). I also went for a fish fry recently and once again was more than satisfied. The place was crowded around 6:30, but it was a nice day so we sat on their patio. The fish was very good, and came with potato pancakes as an option. The coleslaw was alright, but the cheese curd appetizer was excellent. They have a full menu, so I plan to come back and explore their other offerings. The service is great, and the atmosphere reminded me of a supper club. I should also mention that the prices are extremely reasonable. This place is is one of those hidden gems that you find yourself returning to time and time again.
Food was not great and service was o.k. until we were asked to leave because they supposedly had a reservation and needed our table. Even though there were three other open tables immediately available! We are a mixed family and it seemed very directed at getting us out even though we were out with my brother for his birthday. Very disappointing! Won't be returning! Sad that people are still stuck in the 60s. Thought the fight for civil rights was over!
Went to dinner on a Friday night. Food was good. Tempura Shrimp appetizer is great. Had Cod Fish Fry and Perch both were good. Excellent homemade Potato Pancakes, and lots of fish.
This is a bar/restaurant. Seating is limited, but the service is great. We were served by two diferent waiters. Very attentive. The place was busy when we were there. I would recommend it. Intend to go back and try their Saturday night Prime Rib. Unlike most places, they take reservations for Friday Night.
Went to the Olde Mill Inn with a coupon for $25 off diner on a recent Saturday nite. Typical Wisconsin Supper Club atmosphere,but was not smoky at all and when arrived there were many more people at the bar than in the dining room. Jason our host and Bar manager greeted us and showed to table. He was back shortly to take drink and diner orders. Ordered two prime rib specials -med rare, one with baked tato and one with garlic mashed, one house salad with house vineger & oil dressing and one soup of the day which was tomato & cheese sandwich. food arrived in a timely and well presented manner. Bread basket was presented with chilled butter and was filled with the usual crackers and bread sticks as well as two fresh baked mini Italian breads that were very good. The salad was mixed greens ice berg and spinach with cucumber,red onion, shaved carrot, tomato wedges and croutons- it was fresh and very tasteful with the house dressing. The soup well, it sounded funky but was awesome! Steaks were done to perfection and well presented with chefs choice of fresh sauted veggies didnt need a knife except to trim the little fat that was on the meat. Jason was well attentive but not overbearing. Throughout our meal the place filled up yet was not noisy or smoky. When we asked for check we found out that two workers called in sick and that Jason was alone to handle both dinning room and bar! As the place had filled we noticed that many were regulars as they talked to Jason and mentioned his father who discovered was the chef! The service did not appear to falter as we heard no complaints and saw Jason moving quickly between the bar, kitchen and dinning room.
Conclusion is We will recommend this quaint little place to our friends who appreciate good reasonably priced food with good service in a pleasant atmosphere
