Dar Essalam, Wilsonville

Very slow service! We ended up walking out without eating because after a 45 minute wait, we still hadn't got our food.

I've been to Dar Essalam 4 times since they opened. They have very flavorful dishes with lots of variety to choose from. The deserts are excellent. I've found the service to friendly, warm, and very helpful with recommendations. The restaurant is well decorated, clean, and interesting. Dar Essalam is also only one of two non-chain restraints in Wilsonville. If you want something different is a great choice. Do check their hours and days of operation first, they are a bit different.

This is a place to go to enjoy your food, your time and the comapny of others. Dar Essalam is very much about the wholistic experience of eating and sharing a wonderful meal. My favorite was the soup which is full of spice and yet so completely round and balanced every bite was a joy to eat. We had the Kabab platter for the main course. The chicken and lamb were seared to tender perfection. I can't beleive I have driven by this place since it's opening and not taken the time to try it. I will be going back with friends and family again and again. The owners are a true delight and the pride they take in their food and their establishment shines through from the time you enter until the time you walk out of the door. An exceptional experience at a very reasonable price.
