rotten is an understatement! went there last night. it was not very busy. immediate seating indoors on a friday night during spring break at 630 pm. should have taken that as a clue, but decided to wait for an outdoor table. seated at 7. put in our appetizer order at 715. by 805, still no appetizer. waitress said the gumbo was ready but they were out of bowls. after a full hour, we were so hungry we decided to leave. walked in to tell the manager we wanted to pay for our drinks and tip our waitress, we did not feel it was her fault. Instead of apologizing for the delay, the manager argued with us that a 45 minute wait is actually standard for appetizers and we should not complain. wow. gave the waitress 20 dollars for her trouble (especially for her unfortunate management she has to deal with) and walked out. really. stay away.

A little pricey but the tourist love to be out on the water so, the location is worth the few extra pennies. Food is good and I love a quiet breakfast during the summer (no tourists) sitting on the restaurant's deck. Looking out on the water is wonderful for the spirit and their healthy yogurt/fruit parfait breakfast is wonderful for the body and is delicious. There is a bouncy middle aged waitress that has been their since their opening a short while ago, and she is delightful. After your meal it is always fun to walk to the end of the pier and sit on the swing. Great place with lots of Local Color. The other Rotten Ralph's at the end of AMI is also fun, especially the bar. Give It A try, and be sure to take your out of town visitors here...it is truly Bradenton Beachy.
