Terrible service & terrible food! I traveled 1100 miles to vacation & found this place online, so i decided to try it. The waitress was so rude by hurrying me along not wanting to answer questions, the beans that was on my taco tasted like they were 3 weeks old with an entire salt container in them. I never in my life returned food til tonite. The postive, i didn't have to pay for it. NEVER AGAIN!!
The service was good with friendly people, which makes posting this review difficult. So on a kind note, the prices were decent and my chicken fajitas were good. On the poor side, the chips were stale, the beef fajitas were undercooked, the [chalupas] were soggy, and the [enchiladas] were incredibly salty - to the point you couldn't eat any more after two bites. So, while my meal was good, my wife and kids meals were bad. For the guys, you know what happens when you get full and happy while your wife grimaces with every bite - needless to say makes for a bad experience, especially if you picked the restaurant. Back on the good side, they didn't charge us for most of the bad.
Great place had lunch there with my kids today. Excellent Service... great prices I will eat here a lot in the future. They even gave my son a birthday song and dessert. Brought extra mild salsa for the baby. They were great. I couldn't have asked for a better server.
This place serves hot delicious food! Our family loves it. It is located in a strip center near King Cleaners and Suncoast Rental Agency! everyone has always been super kind , the food is fresh! I do NOT know where these other people ate!
Their health dept score is good too! Its posted where you come in at the reception/cashier area.
There's some confusion about the view of the Gulf. That's El Toro II where I ate last night. Without a doubt the worst Mexican I've ever had. Taco Bell blows this place out of the water. El Chorito is better and at least you know it's only been frozen once. The rice looked like it had been used five or six times. the waitress was great but other than that it was probably the worst restaurant food I've ever eaten. Lesson learned. The chile relleno was the most disgusting thing I've ever put in my mouth. It was in some kind of greasy, rancid pancake batter and had severe freezer burn. I can still taste it. If you see a good review about this place it's from a worker there or the owner or an owner's friend. Save yourself the trauma and avoid El Toro II like the plague. It's the one across from the Hangout.
