I have been to the Wheatfields in Papillion several times. Always great food and great service. Feel bad they got such bad reviews because of their help at that time. I've also been to the one near Pacific St which was also terrific. Give this place a try, they really have good food and more than ample proportions...I always need a takeout box.
I went out in the ice storm on New Years eve to get a chocolate desert at the Papillion location. After having the young lady at the register talk to my better half on my cell we decided on a small sour creame chocolate cake they had. This cake was for an evening event with friends who prepared our meal and we took wine and the cake. After a great dinner our host cut the cake and served the coffee and wow the coffee was great but the cake was so dry it was hard to wash down with the coffee. So much for Wheatfields quality control. Never again. Stale food is what they have to offer.
Since there is no Old Market address location to post reviews, I'll post it here.
The Weatfields at the Old Market location is not worth going there, you go in and the employees are standing ariund talking to each other as if it were an office party. We were looking around and when we decided on something, there was no one to take care of us.Once we were ready at the register, the two people were talking to each other, until they realized we were standing there looking at them, why so many people standing around, just talking at least they should be taking care of people,no thank you,I won't be going back.
