Took two friends from out of town to dinner; I'd had two previous, wonderful lunches there (the sego lily fries were to die for!) Lunches: great. Dinner: sucked. Head waiter explained they didn't have a blender, so NO, they couldn't make frozen drinks. He didn't smile when I offerred to run to D.I. to pick him up a blender. He then pointed out that the waitress in training had the wrong name badge on, so we shouldn't call her by the name on her badge (I'm NOT kidding!) He didn't smile again, when I asked if her real name badge had fallen in the blender, and was that why they didn't have one. He then explained that they didn't have bloody mary mix,so nok we certainly couldn't have that; so we finally settled on the $7.00 Copsmopolitans. We watched in amazement as the two waiters hand carried the drinks--glasses in hand--and dripped the drinks across the entire floor of the restaurant--I guess they don't have trays, either. They then put the dinks on the wooden table, with NO napkins, leaving the table wet and sticky. They didn't wipe up the mess. The salad looked like it had come from a 'spring mix' bag from the grocery store. Dinner at last: asparagus alfredo was impossible to eat--not fresh nor tasty at all; salmon was over cooked, served on a bed of raspberry(?) jam, served with a scoop of plain, white rice with nothing on it at all--not even a seasoning; sirloin meatloaf--which had been tasty at previous lunch--was drenched and covered in a slimy, overpowering bar-b-que sauce; vegetables were MUCH closer to raw than even hint of being cooked (sorry, but raw green beans are NOT tasty.) Dessert: creme-brule, which previously at lunch had been served covered in blackberries and raspberries, had nary a berry on it; the chocolate-mouse cake was FANTASTIC, however--it was so slow in arriving, that the time to enjoy it had long since passed. Numerous flies buzzed everywhere the entire time--guess all the sticky drinks and spills didn't help much. The jazz music was too LOUD! (they don't understand the concept of 'background music'.)I won't be back; they just don't get it at all.
