Not only does Totuccio's provide their ever growing variety of customers with skillfully and passionately cooked cuisine, but it also provides them with a sense of home when they step foot into this Italian restaurant.
Totuccio's has a family feel from the way they make their 20 differnt pizzas to the way they treat their customers. As a loyal customer from day one, I would have to say that Totuccio's Special pizza is one of the best in the Chicago land area. This is an enormous claim but I can say that with confidence because I am an avid pizza lover and have yet to find a pizza that even compares to Totuccio's Special pizza.
If you find yourself craving something with exploding flavors, you should, most definitely, try Totuccio's.
I live in the neighborhood and have been going here since the place opened. The new owner and the staff are extremely friendly. The place is always clean and always have a conversation with the staff. The new owner added a ton of new things to the menu. I love their pizza, especially the barbecue chicken and the PIEROGI PIZZA, yes, a pierogi pizza. So far everything I have had on the menu was phenomenal. I definitely recommend this place.
We had the pizza and grilled calamari. First let me start off by saying the owner and staff are very friendly! The place smelled like I was in my grandma house and she been cooking gravy (red sauce)all day. Great aroma! The pizza was excellent and I was very surprised by how good the grilled calamari was. That's a hard dish to pull off without having it and Totuccio did an excellent job. We will definetly go back.
It is a very cute Italian place to eat, and their food is extraordinary. Something out of this world. I have never in my life had meatball mostaccioli like this place. I am a very picky person, but they make it just perfect for me. This dish with extra cheese and it will hit the spot. It's absolutely amazing. Everything i tried thus far is really good and they have great prices. :)
Stopped in one day while riding home on my motorcycle. All I wanted was a drink. But they had freshly made slices of pizza, so I said ok...give me one. Wow!!!! Loved it. Tasted home-made!! I've been back 3 times in less than 2 weeks. There are probably 50 other pizza places between them and where I live. So yea, it's worth going there!! Highly recommended...
