My wife and I read about Anatolian table in The Sunday Bee. We stopped today for lunch. We ordered from the lunch menu: appetizer, entree, & tea or soda. We found the food fresh, tasty, and filling. The restaurant was clean and neat. The server polite and helpful. The recorded music was Turkish, we believe, and just loud enough to listen to without hindering conversation. We thought the price fair: $25 for two including tip. We will stop again.
My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at this restaurant on Tuesday night. We made an excellent choice! The food was gorgeous, authentic and clearly house-made. The flavors were clean, the spicing subtle and the kebobs cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed chatting with the Owner about his food and he was a very gracious host. We recommend this restaurant 100%. Forget Chili's, go Turkish!
I have traveled to Turkey twice and agree thart this is one of the best Turkish restaurants in the U.S.A!
The kabobs, yogurt, vegetables and Baklava- all made fresh at Anatolian table are wonderful. The spices are blended well.I can tell that the staff care about what they serve and the reputation of the restaurant. The service is friendly and fast!
I spent five weeks on vacation in Turkey and I loved the food. I have never had anything like it in the US, until now. This is fully authentic Turkish cuisine. The food at this restaurant is as good as I remember it being in Turkey. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are expertly prepared. Of the Turkish restaurants I have been to in the US, this one is by far the best. My in-laws are very picky and had never tried Turkish food, but they were also extremely impressed with the food at Anatolian Table. I have lived in the Sacramento area my whole life, and I would go so far as to say that this restaurant serves some of the tastiest food in the whole region.
If you have never experienced the the vast varieties of Turkish cuisine I suggest you begin at Anatolian table. The food is delicious! The experience of the cultural dishes are fantastic and full of fresh and healthy ingredients. Our family continues to enjoy the mouth watering dishes at the Anatolian Table.!!!
One of, if not my favorite, restaurants in the Rocklin/Roseville area. VERY clean facility, excellent and courteous service, OUTSTANDING foods. Last time I was there on a Saturday evening, there was belly dancing, a pleasant surprise!
The owner is fantastic, very attentive to detail. The cost is a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality of both food and experience!
Excellent Turkish dishes at Great Prices: Yesterday, I ventured out and dined in Roseville / Rocklin. Menus were brought to the table by our waiter who was very polite and quite professional. I have ordered mixed kebab and it was excellent!!!. The portion was quite generous. According to my friend, his charbroiled fish were flavorful, perfectly cooked. We also got baklava as a desert along with kunefe (which is a type of cheese desert that cooked on grill) they were both delicious.
The dinner prices are very competitive (between $9-15). I would certainly frequent the restaurant again and have an opportunity to have a leisurely lunch.
I had been sick for about a week and finally got my appetite back and decided to try Anatolian Table for the first time. I still didn't feel like sitting in a restaurant so I got it to go. First, the man that answered the phone and took my order was incredibly nice. I drive to the restaurant to discover not only is the place VERY clean, but that the guy was incredibly nice in person too. He even opened the door for me as I was leaving with my bag and threw in 2 free sodas. We ordered the lamb shish kebabs, dolma, and two desserts. The dolma was GREAT and so was the dinner. My Kenefa the dessert was exactly how I've had it from some middle-eastern women I've met through the years. I've also made this at home from a recipe I received from a woman who runs a middle eastern restaurant in Oklahoma. It was SO good. I highly recommend Anatolian Table...when the food is very good even from a to go container, you know it's going to be good no matter what.
Two coworkers and I went there for lunch mainly because we had a 10% coupon that was good between the hours of 11-3pm. The lunch menu they gave us had a selection of entrees for $12 and a selection of sandwiches for $9. The prices were high for lunch, but we figured the coupon would help make it more reasonable. The food was good, but after we finished the owner came to our table and explained that we could not use the coupon with the lunch menu (even though the coupon is only good between 11-3pm AND we presented the coupon before we ordered!). He said if we ordered off the dinner menu at lunch time then we could have used the coupon. Unbelievable! This is not the way to build a customer base. In order to collect an extra $3.50 from us, he was willing to lose us as future customers.
