I was really excited to take my sister to Basso as I had been there on numerous occasions; however, on the night of our reservation, I was sorely disappointed and enraged at how we were treated. The waitress ignored our table repeatedly and when she did pay attention to us,she interrupted us repeatedly while we were talking to her. When my sister asked if there was a problem, the owner’s wife and the waitress were extremely rude. Our dishes stayed on the table the entire time; we finally had to ask someone else if he could remove the dishes, which he did with a great show of displeasure. We were never offered bread nor asked if we were ready to order. When we finally got to dessert, which happens to be one of my favorite items there, we asked the check and left because I was disgusted and my sister was close to tears. Then, while we were saying goodbye to each other in the parking area, the waitress came out and was very passive aggressive and loud as she got on the phone and started talking to someone complaining about our table and how we were there only an hour (we had movie reservations and needed to leave and frankly, with the service we recieved we saw no reason to stay) and how we didn't tip enough. The dessert maybe great but it is not worth being treated so poorly. This is the worst service I have ever received in a restaurant.
