Iron Hill Brewery - Lancaster, Lancaster

I would recommend this place. They have a great seafood pasta dish that is to die for. The service at this restaurant are always good, removing plates or refilling drinks. The bathrooms were actually clean which you dont always get from a place like this. My husband and I like to go here and watch sports.

I have been here a few times and really enjoyed the food. Last night my husband and I decided to have dinner here again. I had a Tuna Steak and when I received it, it was not done the way I ordered it. It went back 2x and because of that the manager stopped by and was very nice and took care of both my entre and my husband's. Even though it took 2x's to get the steak the way I wanted it, the service was very good and I did enjoy the tuna steak when I finally got it. I would recommend this resturant to everyone not just for the food and the beer but the service is very good.

Went to this restaurant recently while visiting Lancaster. Iron Hill proved to be nearly the highlight of the entire trip. Great 'bar' food and casual fare served in relaxed yet classy environment. Service is great, too. If you like beer, don't miss the hand-crafted beer selection. THE BEER IS NOT TO BE MISSED. Now I know-a trip to this part of the world is not complete without at least one visit to Iron Hill. Call ahead for reservations! Iron Hill is located in other towns, too. (see their web-site)

Brews are good (pig iron porter on nitro excellent), they could use more in the sandwich dept. Apps are all rather expensive. As much as the sandwichs. I can't say I've digged anything they've made with seafood. I have gotten an entree I wanted to get again. Pizzas at first seem expensive for the size, but they've all been awesome and well worth the prices. Atmosphere is very nice. Bar is way to small for a place that brews it's own beer... Last week power went out there, no one working there knew what was going on. We're running all around. Then they tried to push more food and drinks on us, being very apologetic. Especially beer (maybe because the cooling system was down too?). Then 10 minutes after getting more food and drinks told everyone still in the restaurant that they had to leave. They can't have people in there. Nice. Apparently they got enough juice through their computers to call up everyones tabs... And then didn't comp anyone on anything for having to sit in a darkened place waiting on a disorganized staff to get the items that were pushed on us. Go customer service! Yeah, real class. Still, that aside, it's generally a good place.
