Ocean Park, Hong Kong

Its so much fun!the best ride is your ma! by far ye tiks. better if u hav a change of clothes cus u can go on all the rides then... going to see the dolphins is a waste of time unless you have young children

i like all from this place ; the view, the rolercoaster and all the games, the people, the food...... it's fun!!! especially because it's right at the top of the hills so make the feel very - very great ^-^

Remember the feeling of happy and fun time in amusement park when you was young and you still remember that precious time? Ocean Park Hong Kong will recall your those happy time again. he Ocean Park combines a marine park and an amusement center, and is situated along a dramatic rocky coastline of the island�s southern shore. The park is divided into�lowland� and a �headland� which are connected by a cable car and an escalator. The features include a Dinosaur Discovery Trail, Kiddies rides, playgrounds, remote controlled cars and boats, a theater with hydraulically actuated seats that move, a Ferris wheel, a roller coaster that turns upside down three times, a wet ride on a �raging river�, and a Japanese Garden. New Ways of Educational experience: The Ocean Park Hong Kong gives educational tours at the Dolphin University, where you can watch the training of dolphins up close. There is a Butterfly House which has hundreds of free flying butterflies, a Golden Pagoda set in a lush garden and a variety of goldfish, most of them from China. There are even two pandas, which were given to Hong Kong as a gift from China. The Pacific Pier features an artificial wave cove, which is home to sea lions and penguins. There is a shark aquarium with more than 200 sharks and rays on display that can be viewed from the underwater tunnel. The Atoll Reef is one of the world�s largest aquariums and has over 2 600 fish of 200 different species, and finally there is the Ocean Park Tower, which revolves and offers panoramic views of Aberdeen and the outlying islands and stands at 69 meters high. The Ocean Park is open daily from 10am to 6pm and the admission fee is $21 for adults and $11 for children.

really good place By jemma from leeds, uk 03/15/05 Overall: PROS: really nice n big CONS: on side of a big cliff. this is a really good place to go, esp if u like pandas has they have 2 amazin ones there, called an an and jia jia!!! the only bad thing about it is that it is on a side of a cliff and there is 2 sides to it and you have to ride a skyride to get to the other side and it is a long ride!! other than that it is a good place o visit!

It has many rides. You can see sea creatures in Ocean Park. It will be very fun to go there again. You can watch shows also of the sea animals doing tricks.

I went only because I wanted to see a Panda without having to travel too far from Kowloon. I was very surprised to see the extent and range of the Park. They cater to the little children with games and rides through to teenagers and adults. The park is huge and you should plan to spend the whole day/evening there. The tourists don't arrive until around midday. Before that time you could run around naked and no one would notice! From 1pm onwards certain areas were crowded. The cable car ride to the other side of the park is extremely challenging for someone who suffers from vertigo like myself but a must if you have teenagers who want to go on rides. I enjoyed it so much I am planning another trip to Hong Kong.......This time with the children!

Ocean Park is really one big amazing theme park! It's like a zoo, botanical garden, butterly farm, underwater world, and amusement park all in one. Extreme rides are really breathtaking! Aside from the cable car over the South China Sea, it's only in this place that I've seen the longest and highest escalators! You'd have to use them in order to reach the Pacific Pier at the top of a mountain. Pacific Pier is somewhat similar to San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. Atoll Reef is awesome! I think it's the best underwater world I've ever seen. There's also a dolphin show that's really entertaining. This place is so big and amazing that a day to visit here is not enough.

We are from florida.. we have Mote marine and Sea world here.. we enjoy spending time with ocean life.. But we are surprised by the collection in Ocean park... fish from all over the world.. the exhibition room for the Jellyfish is not very big.. may be we are spoiled American. But the designer has demonstrated their talent on interior design.. we have a wonderful time...

Like i said, if you have time to go there, and nothing else to do, then it is fun. Decent rollercoasters, good shows and the panda's are cool, but i defintely would not put it in my top 10 things to do in hong kong.

I absoulutely loved Hk,especially Ocean park. the rides wre great.Raging River was the best ride in the park.Even though Disneyland was newer ,it wasn't as good.The dolphin show is very exciting when the fun begins! I would reccomend Ocean Park as a fun torist attractions!
