Victoria Peak, Hong Kong

The peak was Awesome. The cable car ride to the top was really relaxing and fun. The peak has a sight to be seen. I found some great photo opportunities up there. Dinning and shopping also @ the peak. Great place for a hal day trip. the bus ride was interesting with all the twist and turns around the mountain side.

The place was just so romantic. It was overlooking the city and the food was perfect....Riding the peak tram on the way down was also fun!

Go there just to experience the sites and the newly renovatee Madam Tassauds wax museum. The small is a mix of services and nothing beats a fine dining experience. The cable car ride is a must!

I really really like this place, because it is unique. i can saw all of Hong Kong. that's very beatutiful, like diamonds. you can't imagine that if you never visit it.

first day, the sun was shinning down... way too hot. Guess i wasnt the only one thinking going up the peak, cause the queue for the tram was mega long weaving like a snake. I did cheat i caught the bus from the star ferry, i beleive i could have walked in in 5 mins. i dediced to try walking it, boy how wrong was i. i got to the second tram stop and was exausted, and beleive me i consider myself fit and plenty of stamina. well the second day i attempted it again, but i was told i could catch a 16 seater bus up with was less used by tourist and cheaper than the tram, but id get the same view if i can down, so i thought why not. Great view, and great little walks.

Victoria Peak is ok, don't go through the day thou, there is smog everywhere and you can's see much, we are going back there in 3 wks, but this time we will go there at night.

The breathtaking view was simply fantastic! It's a must for all tourist to go there and the best time to visit is during the night. It's also a very strategic point to view the whole of Kowloon, HK Island and some of its other outlying island around it. If I could use just one word to describe, it would be "Awesome".

Go in the late afternoon to see the view in the daytime. Then have dinner and watch the night fall and the city lights come up across the harbor. The daytime view and nighttime view are spectacular but different so see both. When you have dinner, you should request a window seat for the best view but you may need reservations a week in advance for some of the restaurants at the Peak.

If you're in Hong Kong, you absolutely can't miss the opportunity to go up to Victoria Peak at night to take in the view of the Victoria Harbor. You'll see the harbor, boats, buildings. It must be the most romantic city view in the world. To get there, we took the Hillside Escalator (an interesting attraction in itself) through the expatriate neighborhoods and then took Bus 12 to the Peak Tram.

I've been in Hong Kong last Feb.09-15,2005. It's my 1st time to visit Hong Kong. All of the places we visited was great but there was one place which is the most memorable place for me, The "VICTORIA PEAK". U can see from here the best views of Hong Kong especially when you walk within the LUGARD-HARLECH ROAD TRAIL. Visit the 'PEAK TOWER' & 'PEAK GALLERIA' wherein it offers a lot of things from Fine dining,attractions, & a viewing terrace to see the HONG KONG skyline.
