Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum
Description
This museum houses the oldest historical monument in Hong Kong, an early Han Dynasty tomb believed to have been constructed in AD25-220. The burial vault was discovered in 1955 when workmen leveled a hill slope during construction of the surrounding housing estate. The tomb is thought to have been built for an imperial Chinese official or settler, and a display describes the funeral objects found in the tomb, including pottery, bronze pieces as well as model houses and barns. Admission: Free.
