Hong Kong Park is not just a park: it features an aviary, greenhouse, fountain plaza, lily ponds, playgrounds, artificial waterfall, viewing tower, visual arts center, museum, restaurant, indoor games hall and even a marriage registry. Some people say it looks anything but natural. Still, it is beautiful in its own odd way, with high-rise buildings on one side and mountain greenery on the other. The aviary houses over 150 species of birds and visitors walk on a suspended wooden bridge around 10m above the ground to look at the birds perched in tropical greenery at eye level.

Loved the Park
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/23/06
This park is a lovely oasis in the skyscraper jungle of Hong Kong. In addition to the Tea Ware Museum, there is a nice restaurant, a greenhouse with a nice plant display, and an aviary. The park is beautifully landscaped with ponds and waterfalls. If you want a respite from the hustle and bustle of people in Hong Kong, this is it. It is conveniently located in the Central District, and easy to get to from One Pacific Place Mall. Just follow the signs to the escalators. You can also walk through the park to the Victoria Peak tram station.

Loved it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/19/06
In the midst of a huge bustling city, HK park is a beautiful haven of lush greenery and peace! I loved HK park and enjoyed just wandering around, people watching and taking photos. Great place to take kids and conveniently located next to the shopping mall for restrooms and food. Highly recommended!!

One thing worth seeing here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/05
Hong Kong is pressed for green space so this park may seem like a nice diversion. However there is not much there. The only thing worth doing there is the Tea Museum which shows the long history of tea and its impact on the culture. Chinese tea and British tea are explained in depth including types of teas, elaborate tea ceremony preparation and unique serviing and brewing items.
