Description

This comfortably crowded bookshop is the place for that daily dose of all things French. Magazines, daily newspapers, music CDs and a well-stocked video corner are this shop's big draw. Best-sellers, novels with Hong Kong and Chinese themes, guidebooks concentrating on Asia and France and cookbooks highlighting French and Asian styles fill the shelves. Comic books for all ages, as well as children's books are also available. All books are by French authors or translated into French from the original. Orders are accepted and placed weekly.

An inspiring place to be

I'm really impressed by how well-stocked this shop is. It certainly inspired me to get reading French again. The only problem was choosing which book to take home with me. I also like the feel of the shop. It was just like being back in France. Well done on a great shop!

too expensive for poor choice of books

Books are too expensive. That will be easier for you to order your books in french on internet! Moreover, the choice of books is not so important.

Excellent bookstore

You can find everything there and you can even make orders. They are very active in organizing events too and the atmosphere is definitively french !

True feel of a traditional French bookshop

If a trip to Parenthese doesn't bring back childhood memories, I don't know what does... They also happen to have an excellent selection of books, cds and dvds. Enjoy!

France in Hong kong

The positive point is that u can have the latest books and reviews published in France + many classics. The bad thing is that u have to pay a surcharge which can be very high coz everything is coming from France!
