Miyoshi's lunch buffet is cheap but poor in quality. It is about two dollars cheaper than Osaka or Tokyo One but its quality and service are way below. If you can spend two dollars more, definitely you'll have a full experience of sushi, sashimi, roll and other cooked dishes. I regret that I took my guests to Miyoshi instead of Osaka. I wonder about those who wrote the good reviews and actually feel very misled. All miyoshi's lunch buffet offers was sushi rolls with a lots of rice. It might make a short term sense to the owner but will never create a loyal customer. Today I am taking my daughters to Osaka with confidence.
Went here on the weekend after Thanksgiving with my 2 brothers. Service was very helpful. Sushi was really good. I settled for a chicken teriyaki bento box and was not disappointed. The chicken and rice was delicious and the tempura vegetable and shrimp was crisp and not soggy. My youngest brother got a beef bento box which came with some spicy tuna roll sushi that was too hot for him to eat. I ate it and it was quite spicy. My middle brother get various sushi pieces and enjoyed them. Before hand we both got bowls of miso soup that was very flavorful and satifying against the cold weather. For desert we got a big plate of tempura ice cream that was perfect for 3 people. My bento box, I believe was only $6 so I thought this was a really good deal. The beef box was a dollar or 2 more. I will definitely come back and try something different.
