Right Fork Diner, Edgartown

Logan Field, J.F.K., O'Hare : they all have their diners. The food at none of them will be the high point of anyone's trip. The service at all of them is " please hurry up and leave". At none of them can you finish your breakfast and walk a few hundred feet to your single engine two passenger plane and take off into a clear blue sky. At none of them can you hear Glen Miller, Frank Sinatra, Billy Holiday and Louis Armstrong music playing softly in the background.The North Fork is an undistinguished place one might drive by on the way to the beach, but that would be a mistake. The food, the surroundings, the attentativeness and courtesy of the staff are well worth a leisurely stop. Memo to the management : don't change anything, charge whatever you need to charge to make money.
