Chaba Thai Cuisine, Beaumont

I went here for a friends birthday party. I loved the food. My meal was excellent, serviced in a timely fashion, and the staff were very friendly. I had a great time, and will be going back for more of their delicious food.

I have to agree with my wife Lindsey, the Pad Thai was absolutely horrific. I don't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing that I didn't taste the first (and only) bite that I swallowed of her Pad Thai. My plate was pretty spicy so I didn't really taste the first bite of hers, although it did smell really wierd. All the food was well presented on the plates but I'm sure that if you did it right you could dress up dog poop to look pretty good too. My dish was okay but not what I would consider anything above mediocre. I give it 2 stars since I didn't have to eat the my wife's Pad Thai!

This place was not good. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was the worst Pad Thai I have ever had in my life. My husband is Thai, so we have eaten a lot of Thai food, so I think that makes me somewhat qualified to share my opinion. The noodles tasted like they had been sitting on the shelf for thirty years and the spices etc, honestly tasted like urine, no joke. It smelled funny when it was sat down in front of me and I tried a couple bites but just could not even convince myself it was just marginal Thai, because it wasn't, it was terrible. I have never sent a pate of food back ever and I sent this one back. Usually I can pawn unwanted food off on my husband, but he wouldn't even take it. I have to say I was extremely disappointed! My husband ordered something else and said it was OK. I can't remember what it was. We also had the pot stickers (can't remember their real name,) and they were decent, so maybe it was just the Pad Thai. Who knows, all I know is I'm not going back to find out.

It's the only place to get Thai in Beaumont. It could be better but it's not bad. There are definitely better places in the Houston area, but who wants to drive to Houston for a weeknight dinner? Not me. Pad Thai is good, the satay is decent, Ginger Perfect is pretty good if you're a fan of ginger. They're easy going about substitutions and accommodate those of us who can't handle an extreme amount of heat.

Terrible, terrible, awful Thai food. Frozen Asian mix vegetables have NO PLACE in Thai food. Spring rolls were OK, but everything else awful!! Shortcuts have obviously been taken at every single turn. Everything frozen or rehydrated - yucky. K

The food was good but pretty expensive. The place is small and not in a very good location in my opinion but if looking for a good lunch, then definitely give it a try.

The food is amazing. The service is fast, friendly and accurate every time. If you have not visited due to the limited seating....wait...you will be happy that you did. They are so accommodating to vegetarian and vegan visitors, which is such a delight to see in Beaumont! Noki and Renee are the best! The ladies in the kitchen are outstanding!

The food at this place is great. I usually get the chicken satay and pad thai. The service is good and prices are resonable for the portion size.

I love this place. Try the number 23 or the number 16.
