I love this place! I had wanted to go to the Boiler Room, but it closed before I could. First the service is wonderful, Steve was attentive and knowledgable, the only thing we didn't get right away was napkins. But he was really hopping. I had a prosecco and my friend had her usual, Bicardi Limon, diet coke in a TALL glass. You'd be surprised how many places screw that up! But Steve was right on target. He made two recommendaions a steak and a pasta, the pasta could have shrimp or chicken. So something for everyone! We both had the skewered pepper steak, beautiful. The flavor was wonderful, the steak was cooked to perfection! The mashed potatoes were great, even the green beans and red peppers was awesome. It was even a pretty dish! It was July, there was a cold spell so we both opted for creamy onion soup rather than salad. I've never had it before, it was wonderful!! Then there was the piano player, I had been to the Billy Joel/Elton John concert the night before and this was the perfect post concert show. He played and sang all the songs. It was great, they have a camera on the keys so you can watch him play. The table next to us was a party of sorts and the table bedind us had a tiny baby, there's even the ball game at the bar. Nice lighting and decor! You could go for an event or a date, perfect for anything! If I had any complaints it would be that it's loud, but we went on a Friday night, so other nights maybe better. Plus a little fresh parsley on my soup would have been pretty. Then the napkins, but as you can see I'm scraping the bottom to find something wrong! For sure I will go back, there were so many other things on that menu to try, but the steak skewers were so good. Uh oh a dilemma, what to order! Plus they have both wine and martini flights!! A great dinner, drinks for two and a show for under $80, I would say that's a bargain! They even have burgers and sandwiches if you're on a tighter budget!!
