Barcelona Tapas - Indianapolis, Indianapolis

One of the worst restaurants in Indy. The service is terrible. It was dead in the place and no one wanted to be there ...Not us, not the staff and certainly not the woman manager who sat at the bar and talked on her cell phone the entire time we were there. I had heard horror stories of the place before and had actually tried to get in once before and they were too busy. Apparently something has changed in there because it was awful.

Bravo! What a fun experience. If you are looking to get in and get out fast don’t bother this is not the place for you. This is supposed to be a fun experience with no time frame in mind. I had a wonderful time; the food was good and the atmosphere was light and fun. If you do not like that type of experience you need to continue your dining experience and White Castle. All these comments about the poor service are hard to follow, I cannot complain. The servers were not waiting directly behind me, but they were there when needed, and my party and I got what we needed, and did this while being courteous and friendly…….last time I checked that is part of good service. As for the food it was great, we approx. 10 different items and all were prepared wonderfully and the sauces that went with them where flavorful. I recommend this to anyone, with my advice being to go with a group of at least 4. Trying many dishes was a lot of fun and gave great variety to the experience. This is a great addition to Indy’s dining selection. The food is fun and different and should be given a try. I normally do not write reviews, but I researched Barcelona Tapas before going and read these poor reviews about the food and experiences, and found them to be totally drummed up nonsensical from a few people who had poor experiences during their short lunch breaks (go back to fast food…it suites your cuisine tastes). I wanted to try Barcelona Tapas because I tried a Tapas place in Chicago and it was fun and good and I was happy to see we had a place like this in Indy. Thumbs up!

we have just had the best service and food here. I read all the reviews and was ready for slow service, it s a kickback Sunday, but our waitress and chef were wonderful. Food is the best I ve had in a long time. I wish I could have eaten more but was very full when we left. Wonderful!!!!

Food is pretty good, but the service is very poor. Tends to be really crowded and very loud. Not somplace to go for a quiet evening.
