Rosebud Old World Italian, Schaumburg

First visit to Rosebud - GREAT!! Food was excellent - Rigatoni Ala Vodka and Orecchiette Salsiccia. Have had similar dishes at other restaurants - NO COMPARISSON. Waitress Melissa - perfect - friendly, attentive, polite, a real not false smile, very pleased. One small complaint, the Italian dressing was very good but that was all that saved the house salad AND way over priced. Despite that - WE LL BE BACK!

There is no better restaurant for Italian food around.Since Jim has taken over as manager,the food,and the service are second to none.This has become my favorite restaurant.I've taken my family there for birthdays,anniversaries,and all special occasions and will continue to do so.

The square noodles are absolutely wonderful there. I ordered it with the pomodoro sauce because the lovely waitstaff informed me that the marinara had chicken stock in it and due to my vegetarian needs I had to switch sauces. I had a great time and will be going back there again.

Never got to the food we were sitted given a glass of water and a basket of bread, but we never got a waitress or waiter at our table. After about 15 minutes of wating, left and went to another restaurant.

We had a great meal. Our sever (Dorthy) was wonderful. The whole family would love to go back. (No complants)

Best Italian food ever! I don’t know anyone who hasn’t eaten at one of the Rosebud restaurants and not become an addict. This was my first trip to the Schaumburg location and I do believe it is now my favorite. I made reservations on line and when I got there we waited maybe 5min on a Saturday at 7pm and they even thank us for being patient. The food was awesome I had the Cavatelli al Forno and it was like ambrosia! I had the Tiramisu for Desert and my sister had the Crème Brule and THEN because it was her Birthday they brought out a mousse cake that made us abandon are desserts to split that it was so taste. We left and when we got out side I asked my sister who is a smoker why she didn’t light up and she told me she didn’t want to ruin afterglow of the meal. I don’t know if you can get a better compliment then a smoker not wanting an after dinner cigarette. It is a pricey night out $90.00 (including tip) for 2 drinks, 2 dinners & 2 desserts. Defiantly worth it but we save it for special occasions.
