Chef/Owner Hector Ruiz welcomes you to Cafe Ena: A cozy intimate restaurant located in the tangletown neighborhood in south Minneapolis. Chef Ruiz pares his classic French technique and South American palate to present an exciting menu of Latin-Fusion cuisine. Begin your meal with a south american style ceviche, shrimp, fish, scallops and shrimp in a aji sauce. The many entrees include, scallops, halibut, pork tenderloin, Argentinean style steaks finished in a savory chimichurri. The wine list focuses on a wide range of varietals from Central and South America. Weekly Wine Flights are a great opportunity to sample the many styles offered on the list. If wine is not your thing, perhaps you would enjoy one of the many cervesas, always served in a frosty mug with a lime.
Very good food,wine and atmosphere.
However the place is NOT customer friendly when it comes to large groups. The server was very relucntant to take our order because two people, of our party of six, were arriving in 5-10 minutes from when we were seated.
Second there was a very, very lame excuse, ( our system is outdated? ), as to why the tab couldn't be split into seperate billings. I can see writing up one tab for accounting reasons. But local cafes, such as Currens, easily presents each party of the group with a seperate write out of their bill. Hey people at Ena, this is the tech age. Hire a good IT person to advise you on how to better handle your billing for your seperate parties to make it convenient for the customer. Become more customer friendly, that is the name of the game, because there are many.many great cafes and resturants, with just as good food and wine competing for my business.
Cannot recomend your place to other people because of your lack of customer friendliness
Great place! Great food! What more could you ask for!? The best thing of this place is a great atmosphere, very contemporary latin colonial decor. The food is latin fusion, great taste and very accesible prices. Check it out!

intimidated. Everyone can enjoy the great food, friendly service and pleasant surroundings. Come for the spectacular fire roasted pizza, ...
Uptown's snazziest restaurant is yet another feather in the cap of the D'Amico culinary empire. The animated, noisy dining room
is flanked by a popular martini bar and a show kitchen. The place is constantly packed so call ahead. ...
This joint in artsy Uptown is usually wall to wall people, noisy and busy. Chino Latino is about dressing well,
being current and making the scene. Look for the sparkly glitter marquee. If you can, stake out a large ...
