The food here is incredible, absolutely incredible. Jacqueline, the owner/chef was trained in haute cuisine in France as a young woman. What a treat! If you appreciate fine food you will not be disappointed. It was also very reasonable, especially for the quality and the ingredients she uses.
The drawback is the atmosphere which is unique and somewhat eccentric and to be honest we almost didn't stay when we arrived, but after we got to know Jacqueline, it all fit. Ask for and follow her guidance on the menu. She made us a shrimp dish whose equal doesn't exist and I have traveled the world and eaten in many fine places including the Tour 'd Argent in Paris--from the presentation to the fine flavor it was nothing short of amazing. The French Onion soup was made from scratch with very complex and delightful flavors.
There are more visually appealing restaurants in the area, but none can compare on the food and the price.
What a find!
