Just so fellow Catholics know, on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 evening, I was looking forward to a treat there, but as I walked in I began to notice blasphemous anti-Catholic cards posted on a wall. To a Catholic like myself they were obscenely offensive, mocking Our Lord and Our Lady, as well as saints. I did a 180 and got out of there very quickly. I will never be back and will warn friends about that place in Savannah, an otherwise great vacation spot.
As a Savannah local, I have been to Lulu's several times now. The drinks are good, but the staff needs to polish up on the concept of Service with a Smile. I won't be going back. 3 Strikes and your out.
Stopped at Lulu's with a friend from Savannah. She was familiar with the bar and would not let me leave town without a visit. And she was oh so right. The martinis and desserts are unique and wonderful. It was a little pricey but something very special. I would highly recommend it especially if you love chocolate.
We were advised to go here by a waitress at another place because they ran out of the dessert I wanted. I had the double choc./coffee cake and it was to die for. The price was high though $11 for a piece of cake and glass of milk.
I was taken here by a friend. I got a chocolate tart. It was the most amazing thing I have ever eaten. It had the perfect combination of sweet and tart in each bite. It was wonderful. I literally woke up the next morning craving another one.
