I went to Casablanca because of all the good reviews it has. I will say it lives up to the reviews!! I love it, the service was great, the hummus was fresh and yummy, and the hookah was super. I will keep coming to this place when I am in town.
Sorry, but overall not that good, food was ok, service was HORRIBLE! I use to be a smoker, but the smell of the hooka does not go well with the food if you sit outside, went on a Friday and the was no dancers as advertiesed, and the food was way over price, almost $50 a head, which for the quality of food is, again, over priced. I would spend my money elsewhere, better arabic resturant off garvey (I think) in pomona, half the price and better quality food (and no I do not work for them) just my opinion.
Food: just ok. My friend and I had falafel, lamb, pita (which could have been fresher) and hummus. Service was fine. We sat outside since it was a warm night. Overall, not bad, but nothing to rave about either.
Husband and I stopped by on a Saturday night without reservations and it was super busy. They made an effort to seat us within 10 minutes. Food was AWESOME! I had the scallops and my husband had the kabaob. It was our first time there...and we're definitely coming back!
Hey, I came back to Casablanca for the New Year's party. I had a BLAST! You missed it if you weren’t there! Great buffet, DJ playing fun Arabic and English music and talented belly dancers. Everyone was up on the floor dancing and having fun. The atmosphere was so inviting. The owners (the twins Kal and Wally) and the staff did a great job making everyone feel welcome. I met their mom too. What a great lady. These are a hard-working honest family. They are always open to suggestions for improvements. I wish there were more parties. Wish you guys all the luck. Thank you for making the start of the new year fun and delicious.
