This past Sun afternoon we celebrated our aunt's 95th birthday here & it was fabulous. everyone loved their lunch & the waitresses & waiters were very effecient. one waitress even offered to take pictures for us & did a fabulous job. she got all of us in the picture & there were 13 people - great job in all & we would recommend having a party there any time!
Avoid if you can-go to Jackson or Nevada to play cards. Very inexperienced and not the best choice. However the staff is OK- But save your time and money-just MA QUINNS old place - just relocated from Sacramento st. is all.
UNFORTUNATELY OUR NEXT EXPERIENCE WAS AWFUL. OUR FRIEND WANTED TO TRY THEM FOR LUNCH. WHEN WE ARRIVED THE YOUNG HOSTESS INFORMED US IT WOULD BE 30 WAIT. WHEN WE ASKED WHY, WHEN YOU HAVE 4 EMPTY TABLES? SHE REPLIED THAT THOSE ARE FOR BIGGER PARTIES. THERE WAS 3 OF US AND THE TABLES SAT 5. WHEN WE WENT INTO THE BAR AND WAS GOING TO EAT IN THERE THE LADY BEHIND THE BAR WAS VERY RUDE. SAID IT WOULD BE AWHILE SHE WAS BUSY. AND THE BAR WAS NOT THAT CROWDED. HAVE NOT BEEN BACK SINCE. TO BAD IF YOU GOT RID OF THE RUDE HOSTESS AND BARTENDER IT WOULD BE ALOT BETTER.
This place is fantastic. I had heard great things from many people and decided to try lunch. My co-worker and I had ribeye sandwiches covered with blue cheese, and I had some fantastic clam chowder (and it wasn't even Friday). The ambiance is casual elegant and one would have no idea there were card games going on in the next room. I'm extremely impressed, and the prices can't be beat!
This place was fantastic! When we arrived it wasn't to busy so we got a table right away, but by the time we left it was very crowded. The atmosphere was nice and I felt a little too under dressed. The waitress was pleasant and the food was gerat! They had such a wide varitety on their menu and the prices were so cheap. I got the filet mignon which also came with salad or soup and we aslo recieved a bread basket. The filet was excellent and very good. I would recommend this resturant to everyone.
This was an aweful experience for me and my family. We were greeted to the big room they call their restaurant by the smell of something burning in the kitchen. The actual dining area was a big room with a cement floor, way to birghtly lit, with tables scattered around. I dont know why they tried to make it look like a fine dining restaurant when their menu was a horrible knock-off of applebees. Their watresses were just as useless as their chef. We heard and saw at least 2 complaints from costumers while there for 2 hours. Not to mention the ran out of ranch dressing and suggested sour cream as an alternative. Everything was horrible except for the prices. That is probably the only thing keeping them open.
