Wil Jenny was born just north of San Antonio on a ranch just thru the Bandera Pass. As a child his world was the outdoors. White tails, bobwhites, and rios were his pursuit. The life of a cattleman was appealing to wil in his youth. However, the solitary life and hills of bandera could not keep young wil on the ranch.Wil volunteered for the army as do so many Texans when the nation needs its sons. After serving his country proudly in the war a young soldier was discharged from service at Fort Hood.
