This used to be my favorite place until I had this experience. We got a place from where we could see the chefs preparing salad. They were not wearing gloves and on the top of that one of the chefs wiped his nose when he was making the salad. When we reported this to the manager he told it is not required for them to wear the gloves and apologized to us. He did sound genuine at all. I will NOT recommend this place to anybody after this experience.
I took my neice to the Steve Vai concert at the State Theater last night. We were both hungry and walked into 8th street to get a bite to eat. I explained to the host our situation and he said it would be no problem to accomadate us. It was 7pm and the concert started at 7:30. I ordered a Blue Moon Ale while we decided what we wanted...She had the Calamari and I had the Mushroom Swiss Burger with O-rings...simply delicious. We were both satisfied the service was great, food excellent, and all this for under 30 bucks and still got to the show in plenty of time.....What a great evening!
