Grille One Sixteen-Carrollwood
Grille 116 is a "Freshly Elevated" dining experience from culinary concept, practice, and customer service; wrapped in a "CHIC" and "METROPOLITAN" atmosphere. The menu is "American Contemporary" and extraordinary. All of the steaks are organic and 100% Hormone Free. Our fish is locally caught or flown in to provide you with the freshest seafood available. Grille 116 is large enough to create energy and atmosphere, yet small enough to provide superior food quality and superior service. Try a few of our guest favorites: Our signature pretzel bread-twisted golden brown and steamy from the oven with accompaniments. The bread is irresistible; you"ll need seconds! Cubes of beautiful tuna are laced with chili sauce and piled on delicate fried won tons in Grille 116's tartar. Beef and grouper sliders, perfectly seasoned and incredibly moist, with pickles and fancy mayo transforming the interior of the doughy bun into a glorious combination reminiscent of amped-up White Castles.
A rating less than a 5 blows my mind. I have had dinner for two different occasions at Grill One Sixteen and both times we were greeted with smiles at the door, the service was outstanding, the food was fabulous, the interior is very South Beach like. Our servers ALWAYS made sure our glasses were never empty. The restaurant offers a complimentary pretzel bread accompanied by artichoke hearts, spinach-artichoke dip and roasted macadamia nuts. If you're celebrating a birthday don't expect the typical chocolate cake...you're in for a surprise and I will leave it at that. I am actually planning another visit in August for two birthday celebrations.
What a treat! Natural and organic food, talented chef, great presentation - and in an upscale restaurant. The service was prompt and the staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. The above combination is unique in the Tampa Bay area, short of Berns.
I LOVED this restaurant. I wasn't sure what to expect when I got invited by my friend for her birthday but they accommodated all 10 of us at a beautiful table on the side. The service was impressive. We got appetizers and a few bottles of wine. Everything was presently extremely well. Although pricey, our food was DELICIOUS! The jumbo scallops were amazing! I can't wait to go back for a special occasion. Oh yeah... and the atmosphere is very very enjoyable. Treat yourself for a night!
Typical Tampa. Hey, let's spend a few million on building or remodeling a beautiful trendy restaurant and run the place with a clueless staff that either doesn't know any better or just doesn't care. I've gotten better service at TGI Fridays.
Sat at the bar - bartenders fought over who was serving who and also gave very poor wine recommendations - tried to sell what they had a surplus of. Food was very average - had steaks - better at Longhorn. Wine and drink list was very standard with no imagination. Very overpriced - no real value or worth.
Crowded, loud, and dark - probably to cover up poor presentation.
Tries way too hard to be the new hot spot. Will never go back.
At this restaurant, take out customers buy ingredients separately and mix the broth, solids like chunks of chicken, thin rice
noodles, jalapeno slices, lime wedges and fresh basil and a spicy hot sauce to produce their meal. Rice vermicelli ...
