KC Sushi, Kansas City

I love this place!! I drive 45 minutes and past many other sushi places to get here. Best sushi in Kansas City

My Inlaws live by Zona Rosa and frequent this place for the 1/2 price deals on sushi. They know that my husband and I love a good deal on sushi so they took us there for lunch. It was perfectly yummy. Service was adequate and the food was good. I would eat there again.

I love KC Sushi. I have been going there for about two years at least twice a month. The staff is always so sweet and the sushi is fantastic! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Japanese food.

Absolutely awesome... The KC Roll is unlike anything I have ever had....I love sushi, and was erally impressed. We went mid-afternoon on Friday...Very quiet, sat at the bar. Lots of attention, and able to watch a master at work. Fresh food at the correwct temperature...They served us our food in 2 waves, and we were just finished with one round when the second came. An absolute must in the north for those who want authenticity!

These negative reviews are in no way representative of the quality of the food at KC Sushi. I have never had a problem with the service and I've been in there at least 50 times. I've even taken a japanese exchange student in there and he said it was just like home. I'm sorry Nara. your sushi sucks.

The only reason that I gave it two stars and not one is because eating at KC Sushi did not make me physically ill. Went there alone with my 15-month-old daughter and was very disappointed, actually angry when leaving. I have been eating sushi for decades now. Love it. The sushi was average at best. The service was despicable!! This was my second trip to try it. The first trip was equally as poor. Since there are so many positive reviews online, I gave it a second chance and went back for the 1/2 price rolls lunch special. Which by the way the waitress would not tell me which rolls were included on the special. Yes you read correctly, she wouldn't tell me. I ordered fried rice for my daughter and it took 20 minutes to get to the table. Really, 20 minutes I timed it. Drinks, and food ordered were completely forgotten. When the check came, it was not itemized at all. It just said sushi - $25 dollars. What in the world is up with that. Plus the menu that was printed on paper that I received didn't have prices. What in the world is up with that??? Oooh, the service was so bad each time I went. I suspect many of the positive reviews are added by the staff/owner of the place. I cannot see how so many people are that excited about eating at this place.
