I just back from eating here. I LOVED it, food was wonderful, the chef was awesome, and really friendly. Food was a BIT pricey, BUT you do get a lot of food. I d stick with water for the drink since there is no free refills. I had a wonderful time there tonight, and plan on going back.
Some of the food was very good, the service was good, but to wake up the next morning to find that I was charged for the entire tables meal was a bit of a shock, my dinner was $35 but my card was charged an additional $90 for the other 3 people at my table.Samurai said they were sorry, but because the other people are not known I will have topay for their dinner, I was seatted with people I dont know, so I get to pay for their dinner.
Always a good time, but really upset that the military discount only covers the active duty person. The whole family serves when you are military, believe me! And who do you think pays for the whole meal when you eat as a family, the active duty person!?! Pretty stupid in my book! Also $2.25 for a refill on a soda is a little too much also. The portion sizes and meal prices are ok but the discount and soda refill price were a definate turnoff. Loved our chef, Romero was AWESOME!
This place was actually pretty delicious and its really pretty inside ( little dark but nice) not really for children my 1 1/2 yr old was scared of the fire but the chef was so nice that she even started to clap for him. It is a bit on the pricey side but its a fun new place to bring people. The food was really really good though it surprised me i didn't think it would taste so great since all the chef did was spray a bunch of stuff on it lol but it was so good! the menu is a little small but maybe they'll start adding more to it later.
We had dinner at samurai's on may 14th to celebrate my 27th birthday. we had a party of 12 attending. I was very very pleased with this place. I had been once before but not with a large group. Half our party was running late and the manager was able to hold off until everyone arrived. The food was great, my boyfriend said it was some of the best steak he had eaten in years. Unfortunately my two year old was scared of the fire, so i requested that our chef be very minimal with the show, i enjoyed the drums and show that was put on to celebrate my birthday. I have never been to a place where the manager was so personable with the guests. Patrick was wonderful in making sure everything turned out great, that our checks were correct, although somehow my sisters order was missed, over all it was a awesome experience. I am surprised at all the negative feedback. I would definitely come here again, just next time ill leave the little one at home so we can enjoy a great meal! thank you to everyone there for such great service!
I just recently ate at samurai's with my family on mother's day.
The food was divine, and the service was great!
After reading many of these comments about Samurai's, some of you people made me sick to my stomach. HONESTLY if you don't have anything nice or atleast partially respectful to say, there is no need for writting comments or reviews.
Here is for APRIL A, who clearly has such a miserable life that she has to disintegrate on other peoples confidence and lives.
Personally, I think the food and chefs were AMAZING.
They really put on a show and made a great day for my mother. This was the most perfect restaurant for a special occasion. I can honestly say that i haven't heard my mother laugh (with her belly laugh) for years and i was astonished when I heard her. I felt that all of the font desk people were very friendly and the person that seated us was very polite. The servers did a very good job making sure we had everything we needed and the manager even came and talked to my family to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, NOT TO MENTION he even gave my mother a flower.
So APRIL A...I AM TRULY SORRY THAT YOUR LIFE IS SO MISERABLE THAT YOU HAVE TO IMPEDE ON OTHER PEOPLES PERFECTLY HAPPY LIVES.
I love samurai's!
After waiting 45 minute to get seated with an 8:30 reservation even, we sat down to a very beautiful atmosphere and way overpriced average tasting food.
The portions were small, the fried rice is an extra charge eventhough they take away your steamed rice to use it to make the fried rice it costs several dollars more for it!
The showmanship? Some crude tapping of the utensils and a flare up at the grill doesn't make for an entertaining show unless you are a child, my husband does that each time he cooks at the grill especially the flare up!
Come on people, the only thing nice about this restaurant is the atmosphere and you pay dearly for it.
The hostess is a fake cheerful person who when no one is looking makes faces. She sounds like some bubbly cheerleader to your face and when people turn she has a smirk or makes a childlike malcontent faces.
Honestly, I won't ever waste my money or time at this pretentious, overpriced, mediocre food restaurant again.
