Beach Bite at Rockaway, Rockaway Beach

over an hour for food that was cold and tasteless.......4 adults and 5 kids had a variety of choices and all were poor quality....The waitress was inattentive and 'unkept' in appearence.... food was obviously out of a can and/or processed.......Hamburger paties were well over cooked and cold...fries as well........Ravioli was cold and tasted like paste and over cooked pasta.....Never again for my family and friends............However everyone who reads this....The mexican place next door has great food and had our dinners for 4 in less than 15 minutes.....Fresh, hot, and wonderful flavors..........Good l;uck 'beachers' looking for some good chow....This restruant is NOT it..........

9-17-2011 Stoped in for a cold micro very good selectionn of Oregon micros & a nice wine list. After a couple of good micro beers we noticed some really nice meals coming out others were having for lunch looked & smelled good we asked for a dinner menu was impressed. We went back that evening for dinner food was excelent I had steak & prawns my wife had prime rib cooked to perfection.We will always stop here when in town.

Boy, looking at the other reviews we must have been there on a bad day, because the food was horrid. This was the worst dining experience anywhere that we've had that we can remember. The food was rubbery, dry, burnt in places....frozen shrimp skewers heated up in a fry pan? Garlic mashed potatoes made with water? What are you thinking? The prices were high and the food wasn't even close to restaurant quality. The only good thing about the experience was that the beer was very cold. I'd say, close the restaurant, expand the bar, and call it good.

We loved this restaurant. Good food and really good service. We will definitely go back next time we are in Rockaway.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed one of the best steak dinners we had ever had at the Beach Bite! Everything about this restaurant was very good - the food, the service, the room, and the price. You wouldn't expect this quality when looking at the restaurant from the outside - it has just a normal, simple storefront appearance. But once you come inside you're quickly greeted and taken care of. We were really impressed with all the details of the restaurant as well - nice decorations! Our waiter was really good! Worth far more than just 15% - more like 25%! I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody traveling to or through Rockaway Beach, Oregon.

Good service. Good Food. Nice quiet atmoshere. A great first-date restaurant, or an Anniversary dinner, or just a quiet dinner for 2. I have eaten here alone, just because i like the relaxed quiet and upscale atmosphere. The owner (Jeff) is warm and friendly, and always happy to serve you. The wait staff was great, friendly and helpful.
