Superior Food & Outstanding Service!!! Went there on 8/5/10 with my parents and my grandma. You will not be disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! if you want Italian food! I am a Italian/Sicilian Chef & Culinary Critic and will be leading towards the medical field and I was very impressed by the menu and the professionalism of Limoncello's employees very restaurant oriented and helpful. The General Manager was highly professional and stopped by our table to make sure we were doing ok, that's a plus in the restaurant industry also the Owner who is one of the Sons who is also a Chef was very nice and personable got to talk to him alittle bit before I lefted. Great servers and server assistants always positive and upbeat. Outstanding appitizers, soups, salads, main dishes, and don't forget the specials they are spectacular and the Italian expresso is out of this world and is the way I remember it, save room for the desserts too =) The bar is excellent with many drink choices to choose from. So stop by Lemioncello Ristorante your dining experience will be a memorable one =) I give Limioncello Ristorante my 5 golden stars and a platinum seal of approval by my critic expertise
Excellente! Step through the door and you'll experience the warmest Italian ambiance in the county! The family owners and friendly, well trained staff always have a smile on their face while they attend to your every need. The decor is very pleasing and inviting with the usage of beautiful colors, tile and granite, and two large plasma screens always playing great Italian sounds. I suggest grabbing a table outside and enjoy your meal in the cool breeze of our ending summer nights. Get there early because they fill up fast with friendly and recurring loyal West Chester-ians. An option of call ahead seating is available. Dinner prices are very reasonable. The lunch buffet is award winning and delish!
The menu includes a mix of classic Italian ingredients and contemporary tastes that always satisfies my native Italian tastebuds. Their seasonal green mixes keep the salad selection innovative and refreshing......the Limoncello dressing is delicious. Specials always include varieties of chicken, fishes, pastas, and beef. The Veal Milazzo (3 generous veal cutlets, topped with fresh mazzorella, and fresh tomato sauce) and Chicken Limoncello (fresh breast of chicken, egg dipped, lemon, white wine sauce, asparagus, crab) are fantastic and my favorites. Always listen to the delightful specials, they are consistently appetizing!
Limoncello also offers great catering service and a take out menu with much to offer.
Oh and yes, there may be a bit of a wait, but head to the bar, grab a drink and relax. A BUSY restaurant to me is quite a damn good indicator of the food there!
This is the best restaurant in West Chester. If you go during a peak time there may be a wait. Don't expect to walk in at 7pm on Friday and get a table without a reservation. The food is great and very inexpensive for the portions. They have great wines by the glass. The McManis is a great Cabernet. This place is family owned and you realize it right away. They have half price appetizers and pizza from 4-6:30 every day too, if you can get there early. Enjoy!
By far the worst restaurant in WC. There are so many other places to go which are a million times better. I have been to this restaurant twice now, and both times disappointed. Forget reservations, they don't honor them anyway. Food is mediocre at best. Service is atrocious. Terrible.
I highly recommend Limoncello. The staff were professional and helpful. They were very accomodating even though we were very late for our reservation. The food was excellent- even our finicky two year old was happy!
This is my first and Last time I dine at Limoncello’s. After hearing good things about this restaurant, we decided to take my son there for his birthday. He ordered a pizza, the crust tasted like a cracker, cannot believe this is a pizza from a wood burning oven. My entree, the Chicken Limoncello, was of poor quality, the chicken was battered chicken tenders, the angel hair pasta was mush, and the sauce was of package quality. My wife’s dish, the mushroom agnilotti, wasn’t as bad, how can you screw up frozen pasta, these were not made fresh. This restaurant is not Italiano, it is AMERICANO! Olive Garden, Carrabba’s, American corporation crap. I cannot believe the owners are from Italy, they would never get away with this in Italia! They should be ashamed of themselves. Do yourself a big favor, STAY AWAY. A total dissapointment!
First of all, for me food trumps everything. I can be seated late, treated rudely, ignored for a bit, but if the food is good then (almost) all is forgiven.
Well, the food here was not good. It wasn't bad....it just wasn't good. Bland, bland bland. Even down to the cheap olive oil they poured for bread-dipping.
My Pasta Fagiole was plentiful, but tasteless. I ordered the chicken cutlet sandwich with rabe and provolone. Again, well proportioned, and and great looking, but it had undergone a tastectomy...which was a near-criminal affront to the Sarcone's roll upon which said sangwich innards rested.
Good looking place. (Presumed) owner was very nice, but I won't be back. No matter. Between the portions sizes and the all-you-can-graze lunch buffet, I am sure it will be a hit with most well-fed Americans.
My last visit to Limoncello was by far the worst host/hostess service I have ever received. After calling for reservations a week in advance for a saturday, I arrived with my party of six to find our table occupied by another party of six. Understanding that tables do turn over, I waiting with my family. The manager informed me at 7pm, the time of my reservation, that the table was paid for and that they were getting ready to leave. I waited another 10 minutes and got the same response. Other parties, in the mean time, were seated. By 7:40 pm, my family still did not have seats and we were being told the same story. When I asked if they could politely ask the table to leave, seeing that it was a saturday night, my family was told to go to a local bar and order a drink or two (we also had under age children with us) and they would call my cell to tell me when the other party was done. We decided not to eat there and went to another restaurant that honors reservations.
