FRANCESCO'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT & PIZZERIA, Marble Falls

We had lunch at Francesco's while passing through Marble Falls. The restaurant was clean and the waitstaff could not have been nicer, nor more attentive. I had the Calzone with sausage and my guest the Grilled Chicken Salad. Both were served quickly and were tasty. The best part was the fresh bread that was served. For dessert, Tiramisu and it was excellent.

Great food, good service. This is our favorite Marble Falls restaurant. This family-run hole-in-the-wall offers a friendly welcome and excellent Tuscan-style food. And it is a real price-performer! We always enjoy any of their chicken or shrimp dishes. The pasta is always perfectly al dente -- never overcooked. Their pizza and egg plant parmigiana are great choices as well. Their service is average for Marble Falls where wait-staff turnover is high. But they offer warm fresh-baked bread to enjoy with your wait. And they offer BYOB wine service w/o a corkage charge. Want to enjoy a meal? Good choice if you remember Marble Falls is still small-town oriented laid back, not high-priced big-city.

We love Francesco's! My teenage kids love it as well..they get together at least weekly as a group and they love that they have several selections of good food on the menu that they can afford. My husband and I have also enjoyed many pleasant evenings together there too. We love the food and love the fact that it is a family owned restaurant! And we love that baby! She is the cutest little greeter EVER!

My family and I live in Llano and decided to go to Marble Falls for dinner. We took a wrong turn and found Francesco's Italian Restaurant on Hwy 281. Having no plans, we decided to gamble. It didn't pay off. The food was horrible. The service was fair. One of us ordered pasta that came out 1/2 cooked. The bottom of the dish had pasta that was not completely cooked. When we told the waitress she offered us something else in its place. We accepted...the manager or owner, who knows, came up and said that she would still have to charge us for 1/2 the meal since it was 1/2 eaten. I was floored! The food was not 1/2 eaten and was completely undercooked. On a side note, the woman who was the manager or owner was running around the restaurant the entire night with her infant strapped to her. The baby was fussy and was obviously miserable. It was terrible to see this poor child being jostled around all evening. Bottom line...SAVE YOUR MONEY. Bella Sera down the street is much, much better.

Francesco's is fairly new and I myself have only eaten there two or three times, ut from what I have had, it is good. It's great Italian food at okay prices. The prices could be cheaper, but the portions are huge!!! All in all it's pretty darn good.

Humble looking place, but fresh, authentic Italian. I had a thin pounded chicken cutlet, covered with melted mozzarella & cream sauce. Yum. Between chicken & salad, had no room for the fettucine w/cream sauce served as a side. Went on a week day for lunch & didn't have to wait, but it was packed.

Great food and service. Prices are very reasonable. Bread is wonderful!

Didn't care for it much. The lasagna was definitely lacking filling, mostly noodles. Might try it again some time to see if there has been any improvement.

Awesome...They're new in town but if you want italian with out all the frills. They're great for a casual date, but one things for sure... bring your appetite.
