Ground Control, Goodyear

We will like to go for a couples night to Ground control. What kind of music do they play here? maybe dancing? Thanks!

Just loved Ground Control it's a different place. Went there with a big party for girls night out and did the wine tasting thing. Very good great wines. We are just hoping that when they fully open the resturant in Verrado their prices on beer and drinks are not like the two resturants that are here (Verrado). 5.00 a beer 10.00 for mixed drinks I don't think so. We are hoping you come in with prices that we can actually come in and drink. Thanks Oh you have great food too!!

So glad I have found Ground control. The place is great! Yummy food, excelent gelato,and Great Coffee! The staff is so helpful and friendly.The mornings are my favorite time to hang out and relax. My favorite coffee drink is the iced coffee (they call it toddy). And all the beer and wine, WOW!! I am hooked! I will be back a again and again And recomend everyone try it!!!!! Thank you Ground Control!

I have been visiting Ground Control for three years and I'm not even a coffee lover. I like the many selections of tea, beer, and wine available, and I have a mocha occassionally when my favorite baristas are working. The Tuscan panini is my favorite. The combination of pesto, tomatochoke, and parmesan cheese is a flavor explosion in your mouth! And I always bring my kids and out-of-town guests for the authentic Italian gelato made fresh at the restaurant. Yummy! I enjoy being at Ground Control during the quiet mid-mornings and I like the boisterous atmoshpere with live music. I always have a good time. Thanks to the owners for providing a family-owned, neighborhood restaurant.

My husband and I went to Ground Control for some breakfast on Superbowl Sunday. The service was very good and pleasant even though it was quite busy. If you haven't tried the breakfast at Ground Control you are missing out on a great treat. The breakfast Bagel sandwiches are incredible and so are the Burritos. The prices are excellent, you can also choose from the Scramble selection. YUMMM. All this and the best coffee around. What's not to love

Last week my daughter and I stopped at Ground Control for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. However, our service was the absolutely worst I have ever encountered. So very slow. So much so, I was getting upset that we were not able to get the attention of a server to pay the bill. I wonder what would have happened if we walked out! My daughter finally went to the bar and asked for the tab. I had waved my arm several times prior, the ordinary custom in a restaurant to get attention, and was ignored. I love to eat and be happy, not stressed. I will say that whenever we did have service the servers were pleasant and that is a good thing. Please correct this fault at your lovely restaurant. If it is, this would be a perfect place to go because your food is truly delicious. Thank you for your attention.

Giving back to the community is so important and I have had the pleasure of working with Ground Control on several occasions and they have been incredibly generous with supporting local schools for auction gift certificates, coupons for golf tournament participants, coffee, and much more whether it is a school fundraiser, book drive, or fundraising golf tournament. Their contributions to these events have made a huge difference. They have also supported our local Moms Club as well and have a solid reputation for being generous. Most recently, my family attended a huge fundraiser they organized for a local young girl in need of medical treatment and the support they rallied up and the funds raised were amazing. Besides, it was a great event that drew in residents from the community. Ground Control takes time to understand their community, partner with groups that benefit from their involvement, and interact with others in our community to make a positive impact. The owners of Ground Control understand the importance of embracing and supporting their community.

I was there on the 7th of Nov, and I have never gotten worse serivce any where in my life. The owner of the establishment was tending the back bar where my friend and I sat. It was over 5 minutes before he realized we were staring at him cause we wanted a drink. He has a a wine menu of over 400 wines, but one one wine listed is by the glass. So you don't know what to order. His about 4 year old kid was a sleep at the bar at 9:30 at night. We were never offered a food menu. And when it came to ordering another round, he was too busy going over his ordering list, (one seat over from me) to realize that after 10 minutes that our glasses were empty. If the person behind the bar was hired help I woulnd be a upset with how we were treated, but seeing that the OWNER of the place doesn't believe in good service I will never step foot in there again!!! I have never felt so insulted. The wine was very good but the the price of the service was not worth my time or money.
