Red House Restaurant, Norwich

Me and my boyfriend went three times and all three times we received terrible service. The food wasn't great and the portion was small. I think the service there is the worst ever. Even when we went in and hardly anyone was there... We have had times where we ordered food and the main dish we ordered didn't come out at all, even after waiting over 2 hrs..... Best option for thai food is cook it yourself... it will be cheaper and quicker (even if you have to go shopping for the ingredients)... I hate writing bad reviews but me and my boyfriend gave it three shots to redeem itself.

OUTSTANDING dining experience. Hospitable, sincere staff, from beginning to end; not only were we treated as guests, our server was genuine in her inquiries. My dining partner and I would change NOTHING about our night and would highly recommend trying Red House for yourself~we were delighted by: Spicy Roll Combo(spicy crunchy tuna, salmon,&crab), Lamb Renbang w/coconut rice and a wonderful combo option of crispy vietnamese fish and scallop w/ ginger honey sauce-I must confess gluttony!! The atmosphere was nice and music suitable. The place should have been packed! Hats off to Red House, we will return. The party offering bad review MUST HAVE DINED ELSEWHERE!

This isn't the greatest restaurant, but it's definitely not the worst. I've ordered take out twice now and the service was amazing. Very nice people. The food was really good, I thought. A little pricey for what you get, but the sushi is way better than Mahzu. I would recommend it to a friend.

I agree with rose, Don't go here service is awful, food is overpriced. Its decent food, not great. you want good chinese/Sechwan? go to Chen's in Westerly. you want good sushi? go to Mahzu in Norwich. Even if you dont live localy you wont be dissapointed with those to like you would be with this one.

Sushi, unique specialties and we are in, when we found this was a *sister* to our all time fav, we HAD to go.... OHHHHHHH yes. Fresh, authentic cuisine! Wonderfully simple decor, friendly yet private, dining! Don't fret ask away at *WHAT IS THIS*? pointing to the menu!~ Please do try something you've always wanted to or never thought of ( or dared)! You'll be delighted. Our favorite IS around the corner!

Finally! A real Thai-Malaysian-Vietnamese restaurant in Norwich. The crispy fish was plentiful and lip smacking. The menu is extensive and I've yet to have anything I'd consider less than stellar quality. The service has always been outstanding and parking is decent, especially after 5PM or on a weekend. Right in the downtown Norwich area.
