Great Little India Restaurant. Best value is the lunch Buffet for under $9. Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Curry, my favorite, Aloo Curry, Saag, and other side dishes. Very flavorful and spiced mildly. You can also order from the menu. Try a Lassi drink, especially the mango. Good service. Parking in front on the street and 8 stalls in the back.
I checked the reviews for this restaurant and choose it because of the good ratings. I thought the food was pretty good (I had chicken Masala) but seemed a bit on the pricey side. Atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly. I would visit again.
My wife and I agree, this is THE best Indian food in the South Bay. It's that simple. The CTM is beyond excellent. I agree, the stuff is addictive. My wife gets the Lamb Tikka Masala and absolutely loves it. The mixed veggies is also good!
Order medium. It's just a little zippier, but not nearly deadly. Just more of that goodness!
On our way right now! I think she is going to try the Tofu Tikka Masala, tonight.
EDIT: The Tofu is also really good!
My search for a really good Indian restaurant ended when my brother and sister-in-law introduced Anagara to me a couple of weeks ago. They brought over some leftovers home, and I fell in love with the food.
This restaurant serves nothing but good-quality, fresh ingredients in their dishes. When you walk in, expect the smell of exotic spices in the air. You're also greeted with a friendly, hospitable staff who are very attentive and know how to take good care of their customers.
The interior is simple yet elegant. The tables are nicely covered with white linens with neatly folded napkins and dinnerware already there.
I decided to try their lunch buffet which showcased Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Curry, Aloo Curry, Saag, and other side dishes. The meats were cooked to perfection--tender and juicy. Overall, their dishes were full of flavor and spicy enough to my liking.
Great service, absolutely delicious food, and reasonable prices.
