A chance at excellence wasted. What a great decor. Walking in the door was thrilled at the coziness of the place. Was completely ignored by the hostesses who seemed frazzled. Got seated 45 minutes AFTER the reservation time. Waited 10 minutes for the server to show and get beverages. Another 10 before and appetizer order, then having learned our lesson did not let him get away without taking the main course order. We were seated at 9:20 and finally got the check at 11:30. The filet was OK, but not up to Ruth Chris or Eddie Merlot standards. Medium well was Medium rare. Medium Rare was Medium rare, and Medium was Medium Rare. (Maybe they only have one setting on the grill) Redskin Potatoes were very good, stuffed oysters were greasy, greasy. Had to ask for drink refills which took up to five minutes to get. Desserts were well done and generous. When we left, the Valet acted like he could care less if we lived on the same planet. I will let you make your own decision as to the whether a price tag of $185.00 for dinner for three with no alcoholic beverages was worth it.
