OMG! The meat prices have gone to FIFTY DOLLARS now, AND, the meat portion is WAY WAY down. Too expensive anymore. Martinis were shaken up too much, too much ice, bland taste, and at FIFTEEN DOLLARS EACH??? I dont know how they can get people to eat there. No more for me.
I ve been there several times, each time the steaks arrive colder and colder. I dont know why this steak house lets this happen. I noticed the prices went up on pretty much everything when I went in Jan 11 . The servers do not do well here when it is crowded. My ceasar salad for $8.75 was puny, with NO egg, anchovy, cheese, and the dressing was watered down not sharp at all! The drinks are WAY overpriced, and they dont know how to make a traditional martini. They did have a nice baked potatoe though for $8.50! I doubt I will return here any more, it s deteriorating with the rest of America. But serving the meat cold is a mortal steakhouse sin that cannot be overlooked.
I have been to Flemings several times about eight to ten times. Ever since they got a their new partner things have been going downhill. Salads are now smaller salad dressings are thinner overall I believe they are skimping on the products they serve. The need to get a NEW Partner because it is clear to me the new guy Jose needs to go. I will be looking for a better place to dine out.
Went there last night 9-24-2011 with my wife and we were both very happy with our food choices and the overall experience. The ribeye that I had was one of the best that I have ever had. I have had Ruths Chris, Mortons and some of the best out there. My boss is in love with Ruths Chris and we have eaten there more than 30 times and this place blew it away. The only negatives that we had were that they brought out our entree while we still had our finished salad plates in front of us and it took them more than 10 minutes to pick up the check after I put my card in it. I will be back at Flemings soon.
Ok...I'm probably the only ONE out there offering a less than stellar review of this restaurant. We dined there last night, and found the place to be wayyyy overrated. Understand you will pay at least $50.00 for a meal--without drinks. I ordered a cobb salad with filet mignon. When my salad arrived, I started digging to find the meat--there wasn't any! I had to inform the waiter of that fact. They then brought over a tiny piece of meat to stick into my salad. My friend had a steak--that looked like an appetizer. Everything is ala carte. Baked potato added about 8 bucks. Too many waiters hovering about, askin the same questions. It was a Thursday--yet packed to the max--which made conversation labored. Recession? Not there--somebody still has money! Listen if you want GOOD STEAK--GO TO RUTH KRIS STEAK HOUSE!
Our party of 10 went on a Friday night with reservations at 9:00 pm. The waiter came by and got our drink order around 9:20 but didn't come back with the drinks until 9:45. We waited until 10:10 until finally he came back to take our food order. Although the atmosphere is very nice, the waiter shouted out the specials of the evening like a used car salesman listing the stats on a 1986 Buick Regal. By the time our food came it was almost 11:00 pm. I ordered the Ribeye, which was just ok. I had a bite of my friends petite filet mignon and it was very tender and flavorful. The bottom line on my review... Atmosphere = great, Food = good, Service = sucks. For the price you pay for a meal there, I expect a waiter that knows how to present the specials so that I don't feel shouted at and I'm eating in within an hour. One last thing for the Manager, should they read this... Hand out breath mints to your staff.
