I do not agree with these reviews. At busy times the resturant is extremly loud and way overcrowded. They crowd too many tales in a very small resturant and don't have enough servers to supply the number of guests when at capacity. The food is close to authentic mexican but needs some work. The salsa is terrable, our service was terrable and I will not return.
I cannot eat here because i had the most disgusting experiece here. I found a fingernail in my food. I told the mgr and he did not speak english...great.
The kitchen looked like it has never been cleaned
I am not a fan just because it is as dirty as mexico and the staff does not speak english does not make it authentic. I had a fingernail in my food and the service was horrible. I will never eat here again. It is an old pizza hut and it tastes like it
This place had the most disgusting kitchen i have ever seen. I had to drop of some orders there and i would not reccomend this to my worst enemy. If that is real mexican i will take the other choices any day
I eat there quite often for lunch and have never had any problems. Yes there are hispanic and the food is very authentic. As for the kitchen being dirty, I have never found it to be worse than any other in town. I delivered to restautrants for a number of years and they are just like everyone else. The food is delicious and I think I will go there today for lunch.
The food here is fantastic and well-priced. I love this place. I eat here very often and have never found a fingernail--or any other wayward body part for that matter-- in my food. In fact, I've always been more than satisfied with both food and service. No liquor license though, so don't expect to order a margarita or Dos Equis with your meal, even though the menu will say you can.
My highly-recommended entree is the Enchiladas Supremas. You get one of each kind of enchilada: bean, cheese, chicken and beef--a great choice for folks like me who have trouble deciding. The shrimp chimichanga is also very good, as well as the old standby, chicken quesadillas.
This is my favorite resturant!! Everyone makes you feel right at home. If you go when its not busy, its very laid back. And there maragritas are SO....much better than Casa's! Monday and Tuesday are 2 for 1 and they arent the small ones either. They come in a big mug. I have eaten almost everything on the menu and love everything i have had so far. I went to Casa Manana recently and they confirmed why i haven''t eaten there in 2 years. Its just nasty! I highly recommend going to El Tapitas. Yes, it might be a little crowded but i love the atmosphere!
Awesome mexican food. I've been to Mexico a lot and this place truly knows mexican food. No tex-mex here. I love the white cheese they have. They now have another location in Westlake right off the interstate. I've eaten there and it's just as good.
