Tsunami Japanese Restaurant, Columbia

Staff were friendly and attentive. Timing of appetizer and entree were good. Ordered shrimp udon-was good not great but good. Would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Ran across this place on a business trip. Atmosphere is very nice, food was ok. but i would definitely pass on the miso soup. Way too salty.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The sushi is the awsome and the Happy Hour specials are the best around! You can get 3 sushi rolls for $8 and $2 beers, 1/2 of sake! My favorite restaurant!

Absolute garbage. The rice had no flavor, was crunchy, and didn't even stick together. The ingredients inside the rolls didn't seem to be of a very high quality either. This is basically a bar made up to look like a sushi restaurant. It is a sham. They are trying to capitalize on something trendy (even though sushi was trendy about a decade ago) by serving lousy food and overpriced drinks.

Went there looking for some good sushi, had a great experience and the atmosphere was excellent...but I did sit at the bar and not a table, so I am speaking from the "guy sitting at a bar" experience

Tsunami is just ok. Located in the Vista, the restaurant has a good vibe and the wait staff is relatively friendly. The food isn't the best Japanese I've ever had, but for Columbia -- it probably doesn't get any better. If you plan on going on Friday or Saturday night, go early or prepare to wait awhile.

The best Sushi Restaurant. Recommendations: Red Dragon Roll & Spider Roll. AMAZING!!! I live in Salem, OR and have YET to find anything so delicious! Enjoy!

Tsunami is a really fun restaurant to eat and get drinkst at! This girl Chris that works there is the hottest server ever! Go there and get some yum food and fun drinks!
