Benne's Steakhouse, Clarksville

Major disappointment....Over priced considering quality. Of the 5 adult meals (all steaks) only one person was satisfied with the way theirs was cooked. A $28 ribeye was nothing but fat and gristle, $23 NY strip, med was way overcooked and dry, over-priced ground steak, med was extra well-done and dry. Service was extremely slow. - Problem was in the kitchen, not the server. Casual atmosphere suits my taste. Will never go back again.

GREAT place, awesome steak, friendly staff, a little formal so don't go in sweats or you may feel out of place, kind of spendy but well worth the money. Making a reservation is also a good idea.

Amazing food, service. My company decided to go there for the Christmas party the atmosphere was so relaxing. What a wonderful place to dine and just get away from it all. It is a romantic setting. I plan on my husband taking me back very soon. :0)

As you walk in the glass doors of Benne's Steakhouse in downtown Clarksville you immediately feel the ambiance of the restaurant. I would not mind if they did away with the shabby display case for their pastries. Soon after you enter are greeted by friendly staff and as you walk into the main dining room the bare brick walls lend a warm inviting feel but the high ceilings and tasteful decor quickly bring you into a cozy upscale dinning experience. My wife and I, who were dinning for our anniversary, were quickly greeted by our friendly server. Our food came out on pace, which is very important to me, and hot, but the service was not quite "fine dinning". We both had steak and they were both cooked perfectly. It was certainly some of the best steak in the city. All in all Benne's offers a nice upper class casual dinning experience at a upper moderate price. Defiantly a great date spot.

Amazing food, amazing service. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The bar makes some pretty tasty drinks, too. Expensive - for us it is a special occasion location only.

Took my wife there last night for her birthday. The place was wonderful. The only problem was it was St. Pats weekend and there was a deal on the street and loud music. The steak was better (i thought) than RC, or Mortons. If I were to walk in and see someone putting A1 on there steak I would slap the crap out of em.

Benne's Steakhouse is an excellent place for any occasion. It is a classy restaurant and has a very romantic atmosphere. The mood is set by the dim lights and the live piano player. The food was wonderful and was not too pricey but you definately get what you pay for!

I was very impressed with Benne’s steakhouse. The location is close to the rivers edge so you can enjoy a short walk by the water. The atmosphere was very romantic and the piano music set the mood. Not only was the atmosphere great…… but the food was awesome. The only place in Clarksville I know of to have a great dinner date. The dress is casual but classy! (Not a place for Children)
