Fish in A Bottle Sushi and Grill, Placentia

Every time we go for dinner we get our favorite main entree - the sea bass with miso dijon. We've tried other main entree but the sea bass is amazingly delicious! We also enjoy the unique variety of sushi they have to offer as well.

I don't get it. I went here once, the sushi is not your typical sushi and it was literally COVERED in some sort of sauce (each dish). I wouldn't go back.

The food was mouth watering! The service was excellent! I couldn't keep eating because it was the best sushi I have ever had!

Based on food alone this place deserves 5 stars. However, I have had inconsistent service. I think the owner has too few workers on busy nights and they can keep you waiting for a bit sometimes (not always though). It is best not to plan to be out of there in 45 minutes to 1 hour as the service time is inconsistent dependent on how many servers the owner has scheduled.

My new favorite local sushi restaurant, which also serves juicy steaks and chops. There's a reason the place is packed after 6pm - people waiting outside on the sidewalk and in their cars waiting for a table; the food is great and the price is right for what you get. Service isn't as good as the food, but that may be due to the growing pains of serving lots of people in a modestly small restaurant. Get there early if you don't want to wait.

We went here with some friends for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with the food. We had the asparagus and beef appetizer and the lobster appetizer and the flavors were great. We all ordered different main dishes and all of us enjoyed them tremendously. We will most definitely return.

I enjoyed the food...I recommend the Baja Roll. YUMMY!...I don't know if the server was new or he just didn't care but he needs to work on his serving skills.
