NOISY! This restaraunt has nothing to tone down the noise. They have an open kitchen atmosphere and it totally makes it hard for hearing the other people with you. The food was good, but the noise problem will definitley keep me from returning.
What an unpleasant experience! Tight parking lot, the place is dark and noisy, arrogant waiter with a bad attitude, dirty table. Maybe that's why they like it dark. The menu says to ask for list of beers, but the waiter (yes, that one) explained that it does not apply to them. Say, what?
The food was very ordinary at best.
Here is the best part - the noise drowns out the screaming kids.
We have been here twice, and the food was okay. I had lettuce wraps that were very fishy. The oyster sauce was the issue, I think. The next time I ordered a turkey burger which was okay. My husband had the jumbalaya and it was great. Going there tomorrow night to try again. This restaurant is nicer than RB. The service in the bar is great. Each time the bar waiters/waitresses were wonderful.
We love E-Bar. We've been many times since it opened. The food is always delicious, the salmon with macadamia brule sauce is my fave, but the jumbalaya is a close second. We've always had good service and the drinks are great too. The bar has a really cool atmosphere to it. It is a busy place, but I've never found the noise to be a problem.
Major disappointment from what it used to be 6 months ago. My friend and I ordered the sampler plate; the coconut shrimp was over cooked, the chicken tenders were dry, the dipping sauces were just awful. The artichoke dip was tasteless and was served with what looked like a dollop of salsa on top. My salad had absolutely no flavor, so I ended up just eating the chicken out of it. Then to top it off my white wine was not chilled properly. Our service was minimal until the waiter came with the check then he became very friendly. At one time this place had excellent food and service, sorry to say, not anymore.
Very nice place to go with friends or family. We didn't have to wait too long to be seated, and the service is very friendly. The food is OK, (too many fish/seafood choices, not so many for picky eaters). The place is clean, and plates are appetizing. The service is very accomodating to any problems you have, (the burgers were undercooked, and since we had to wait for a replacement, they took the charge off of the bill). I will definitely go again with my family.
